The OP has to respect the new state of direct democracy in the OP's flat. If the OP is outnumbered three to one, the majority will always get to make their rules against the OP's wishes. If the OP does not like this state of affairs, the OP could vote with the OP's own feet by "emigrating" (i.e. moving out).
