I think this is a common opinion; not enjoying anything sort of sucks ass though.
Anhedonia is cool when you can just barely experience peak states of novelty and immense beauty, but not much of anything else.
I mostly get drunk enough to feel emotion, then spend 48 hours recovering, then get seriously drunk again.
I feel as though doing pushups everyday has been the best decision of my life. I'm up to about a hundred spaced throughout the day. I don't know what it's leading to, if anything, but I've never felt a desire to engage with reality before. This is new.
Don't aim for a "sexy" number of pushups to start with. If you can only do 7 or 14 then just do that. Don't let your vanity derail you.
Pushups: do what you can, then push for a few more every time.
I also like like 1, 2, 3, so forth until about 15 and some walk it up and down.

I'm starting to think the work comes first and the passion follows. Our scenario is exactly that of a man ignorant of the stars marooned in a desert. We need only choose a direction and begin walking. Our primary concerns being to avoid deviating too far from our path, or being too eager to exert ourselves.
