>>14 A great time to familiarize yourself with the live recordings of Grateful Dead. The music is pleasant ambience when you don't want to focus on anything, and the voice of God when you do, every now and then.

Generally the recordings are freely available on archive.org, and there are other options available such as apps, or private communities if you want to spend some time going down that rabbit hole.

Each musician in the ensemble plays in a dynamic improvisational interplay, leading, supporting, signaling for change. Each sonic element is played by a totally unique master of their craft, and from the drums to the lyrics to the tapers to the amazing people dancing in the crowd, there is no one gear of the machine less important than the other, regardless of overall presence. The experience and cultural impact of the Dead are collectively and individually greater than the sum of their parts.

Pleasant, rich, and sad. I can't taste the bitter for the swmeet.

Also, maybe some audio books?
