What are you going to study?

My advice is to do as many practice problems as you can. Do them as soon as you can. Try to get your hands on tests from previous years and mock tests and do them as if they were real. Practice solving problems. It really is the most important thing to do. If the exam/test does not involve problem solving but reciting theorems and their proofs or something, that's harder, but practice that, recite them to a friend as if you were examined, you get it. Practice, practice, practice.

Don't let the deadlines throw you off. The first half of the semester is usually easy and people usually slack off during it and then can't cope with all the assignments that are due to the second half. Try doing everything as soon as you can. It actually helps a lot to know that you have already done something and you don't have to worry about it. This is pretty hard, but do your best, if there's some course that you particularly enjoy exploit that and get done with it as soon as you can so when the panic from multiple deadlines arrives at least you don't have to worry about that one.

People told me the same thing when I started but I had zero chances to use one during the six years of my university studies.

The advice heavily depends on the college. For my college >>3 is mostly useless if not harmful.

Living in dorms is a great way to make friends, which only valuable thing you will get out of college.

My advice for college is to leave women alone and focus primarily on your studies.

In my college you didn't have any second to practice. It was better to find someone to offload some of your work to. And doing everything before teachers give training manuals is just brainfucking.

If it really is computer engineering, that won't be an issue.

What do you think "as soon as you can" means? No wonder you had to cheat if you can't even read.

What do you think "as soon as you can" means?

In college that effectively means "as soon as you get the assignment". There was nothing impossible in those assignments, the main problem was to find time to do them.

OP here. I have 40 mins commute to college. Is there anything interesting I can do in that time? I go by train.

>>14 A great time to familiarize yourself with the live recordings of Grateful Dead. The music is pleasant ambience when you don't want to focus on anything, and the voice of God when you do, every now and then.

Generally the recordings are freely available on archive.org, and there are other options available such as apps, or private communities if you want to spend some time going down that rabbit hole.

Each musician in the ensemble plays in a dynamic improvisational interplay, leading, supporting, signaling for change. Each sonic element is played by a totally unique master of their craft, and from the drums to the lyrics to the tapers to the amazing people dancing in the crowd, there is no one gear of the machine less important than the other, regardless of overall presence. The experience and cultural impact of the Dead are collectively and individually greater than the sum of their parts.

Pleasant, rich, and sad. I can't taste the bitter for the swmeet.

Also, maybe some audio books?
