I am a programmer developing interactive technologies that could possibly be applied to computer games. At the moment, the theme I'm focused around is "emergent behaviour of autonomous agents that are programmed with simple rules". In the past, I've used the themes of "populating worlds with the help of procedural techniques", "data structures and algorithms for the storage and representation of objects on a planet", "simulating planetary forces to generate planets", "economic simulation with autonomous agents.
I do this as a hobby as a way to apply my studies in computer science. I believe in free software and I have refused to sell my time by writing proprietary software.
