Eventually, got to America. They gave him an ugly surname. He would take his wife's name. When he had the time, he found out that the portrait in the latch was of his grandmother, Maria Schicklgruber. He had already been an aggressive drunk. Now, knowing what his blood was capable of, the self fulfilling prophecy ensued. His drunken rage grew more violent. He started beating her. They stopped going to church. One monday, he wasn't at work. The next morning, they found her batterred body. Probably did it all again.
