My solution to this issue was simply to not leave my things in my tent, and hope it doesn't rain at night. A family member of mine had a generous idea and decided to buy me a four season tent. It hasn't arived yet but it's spacious, waterproof, and has a fireproof stovepipe. I'm very excited.
