I changed the tent for a hammock and a tarp. My bag is now much lighter. There are a few other things that I'll never need like sunglasses, insect repellent or sitting pad.
The solar panel works wonderfully, I didn't expect that. It charges the phone about as fast as on outlet. I have a cheap Android phone that I'll be replacing with a second-hand iPhone SE 2016. It's not because I want to look fancy on the trails but because carrying a phone the size of a freaking shoe is highly impractical.
