it's been a long week, anon, but tonight I managed to get my rd6 sampled, and it sounds so much better than I thought it would, I am just pleased as punch and pie. There is a little bit of artifact, but man, it really makes it have character. It's not any 606, but my own little red rd6, and although the samples aren't going to do me a lot of good jammin' acid, they will fill a hole in my soul when it comes time to write a tune.
did you know flat beat was written with a 606? Just beautiful, and a good feeling to finish all this manual reading regarding these machines. Now I can get on with my reading list and just use them as reference for a while, which will be good for my brain I am hoping.
