What's all the hype about avoiding burn about? IIRC the whole yields-cancer-causing-compounds thing has been revealed to have been overestimated a couple years ago. Besides at least olive oil wont do a whole lot in that regard as it has a rather low burning point itself. It's really not an oil i'd recommend for frying in general but at the same time i don't see much of a problem if one does use it for frying.
