I thought its some boring academic drivel about function application, now you got my interest.
It possible the book has an embedded spell in its content, by means of using specific words(mantra-like repetition) and symbols(sigils) which might have effect on the reader.
I haven't read it yet, but i'll ask two questions:
A.Does the book contains sigils(e.g. symbols with esoteric meaning without common use)? Hebrew letters featured prominently? Alchemical symbols?
B.Does the book contain repeating phrases in uncommon quantity, or words that seem to repeat out of proportion to their relevance to text(this is a bija-mantra)?
