I've written/read a decent amount of JS over the years but I've never intentionally learned the language.
Can anyone recommend a (recent) JS book so I'll feel more comfortable putting it on my resume? Or has anyone read the new SICP JS book?
The SICP JS edition is not going to help you learn JavaScript.

Eloquent JavaScript by Marijn Haverbeke.
I read this one. It's pretty good, it covers ES6, and it includes lots practice exercises.
Another plus is that you can read it for free online (except for the last chapter).
No last chapter? That's worse than a clif hanger.
4GET about it.
