How is this possible... It can NOT be real....
I always knew he was a marxist-progreshit, that is okayish, BUT NO, FURRYFAG?!
I can not believe this!

Learned from the best at Sodom university.

What makes you say that? I can't see anything that would confirm it.

No, it is just a place to host random files.

10 2022-02-04 16:52

Why?

11 2022-02-04 17:11 *

Literally who?

12 2022-02-04 18:39

Brian Keith Harvey (born 1949) is a former Lecturer SOE of computer science at University of California, Berkeley. He and his students developed an educational programming language named UCBLogo which is free and open-source software, a dialect of the language Logo, as an interpreter, for learners.

Oh no. Why do F*s have to spoil everything?

13 2022-02-04 20:02

I have fond memories of playing around with Logo as a kid, although not with this implementation.

14 2022-02-05 12:40

>>13
For me it's the opposite. I have learnt BASIC & ASM and had been hacking games to the moment I was forced to learn Logo and write stupid homework for myself and stupid classmates.

15 2022-02-05 14:23 *

>>14
I was thinking this might be the case. It seems like the progression was from micro-computers to toy languages to visual languages to nothing. Maybe Logo encourages a more mathematical orientation though which would be nice.

What do you all think the best system for teaching kids would be? Surely some sort of unitasking OS at the most.

What do you all think the best system for teaching kids would be?

Pink Floyd's one.

18 2022-02-07 07:52

How much LSD does that involve?

I have some mental association between the first hackers and making synthesizers. Was that your meaning?

I remember the connection now. I think it's mostly from phone phreaking, which are somewhat synthesizer like, and that some started out with recordings from synthesizers. I had it encoded as more significant than that though which is interesting. I'm surprised there isn't more.

I guess the furry ones are obvious, but how can you tell which ones are gay?

24 2022-03-12 18:45

Homo

26 2022-03-13 19:50

>>25
Yes, homos are a genus from Australopithecus. It doesn't make them any less furry than they are.
