Thanks for looking into this. I really should have noticed the text-overflow: ellipsis; line. Might I suggest a small change from overflow: scroll; to overflow: auto;. The difference in my firefox is that auto makes the up/down arrows scroll the page when the keyboard focus is in the pre>code, while with scroll they do nothing in the same situation, so auto is more usable for me.
