Does anyone input text into their text editor by writing on a graphics tablet instead of using a keyboard? Is the handwriting recognition good enough for programming? What does your workflow look like?
That just seems really slow. It would be cool if you were writing APL though.

I'm not OP but I mentioned this idea when I was talking to verisimilitude in the context of RSI. I don't know how reliable handwriting recognition is currently however. I doubt APL characters could recognized by anything out of the box.

Who is this "verisimilitude" that the people here seem to love?

It's this guy: https://textboard.org/prog/13
Some of the younger and more impressionable on this site have mistaken his arrogance for expertise, which is why you sometimes see them wasting their time on this imbecile.
I am extremely skeptical that any person could input handwritten text more efficiently than typing on a full sized keyboard. I would bet that even two finger pecking would be significantly more efficient to input text when compared to handwriting.
Have you ever considered painting your code in Piet. https://esolangs.org/wiki/Piet

I don't want to play this game again, but to put it more neutrally: he is an eccentric lisper, some find his ideas to be a breath of fresh air, others are put off by his writing style or impracticality. Regardless it is irrelevant to the current thread.

This is correct, I was likely mistaken to have suggested it.

verisimilitude should shitpost more on /prog/
