I guess what I'm trying to voice is my confusion over what I hear, which is a real desire for "lisp all the way down" in the community versus what I see, which is surface level lisp (especially wrt Schemes which don't seem to have images and the same ability to update an object and have everything that uses that object update, too that CL does). I mean Mezzano exists and uLisp exists and GUIX exists, and you could make the argument that you have to develop on what your customers are using, but 9front has been putting out regular updates for years. Maybe it's just that all the Lisp Machine IP is not available.
