I bought my first bike, a rigged 2006 Yamaha YZF-R6. Using it to learn some mechanic skills until my new license arrives in the mail with an endorsement. I cant wait to ride it. Anyone else in this hobby or starting out?

For me, people who buy supersport bikes as their first are crazy. You can't do long distance touring with them, you can't ride all day long in city traffic with them, you are legally prohibited to drive the bike towards its capabilities. They are mere toys that people get for thrills until they get their first taste of squiddly road rash.
