What are the traits of someone over thirty with a severe, rigorous, and austere temperament that isn't a bore? I imagine that they'd just quote esoterica at you and then disappear.
Boredom is underrated. You can't have a good relationship without being bored together occasionally either so I'd even say it's necessary.
