imagine using autocorrect/autocapital on phone lol

13 2022-11-17 23:33

Sometimes it bothers me to use proper capitalization because people might think I'm phoneposting.

What's wrong with posting from a phone?

15 2022-11-23 01:53

Nothing I think, but sometimes the NEETS will harangue you for being a casual or whatever.

Phoneposts are of inherently lower quality due to at least 2 reasons:

1. It's harder to type on a phone, as opposed to a keyboard, thus phoneposts are short and shitty.
2. Phones are used ``on the move'', or in situations where a person is feeling lazy (like in a bed), and so phoneposts are made with less care and focus. In fact it's so bad, people are LITERALLY shitposting.

And now that I've listed these, I can actually think of a third reason: phonenorms are glued to their phones even in situations where people usually sit alone with their thoughts, like in a bath, or when using the toilet. This gives the brain of a phonenorm less downtime to form original thoughts, or have some insight, and thus phonenorms have way less to contribute to a conversation.
