The only plausible scenario is a military takeover over 'incompetent United States' by some gloworg, with Biden intentionally losing control
and 'merica being led into some corporate fascism dystopia.
However, this would greatly lower the prestige,civil principles and soft power of
US, thus making a strong case for open civil war vs this gloworg:
perhaps this is all a huge ruse to bring out potential
rebels into open confrontation which they lose?
Either way its something sinister with big stakes, where US president serve
the role of media scapegoat to justify ensuing chaos.
A remote second possibility, is that this is made for foreign audiences,
e.g. China or Russia, who in some freak timeline accident become
more powerful than US, to convince them that US is runaway circus show without any controlling leadership, while shadow government executes decapitation covert ops in opening of WW3.
