I use social media apps just because everyone else does. I was wondering if deleting all my social media account would affect me in any way. I don't talk to friends much anyways and I was some time looking at memes which is detrimental. I also like the idea of not being discoverable. What do you guys think about this?

i say the cons outweigh the pros clearly
make a bridge for whatever corpo chat app you and your friends use to something cool like IRC (or just write your own frontend for only that part of the service) then stop visiting the main sites entirely

* Fixed line telephone
* Email
* Mailbox for receiving physical mail
