Tone Mobile’s e20 devices are being sold with a function that prevents users from taking nude selfies of themselves, using the excuse that it is protecting children.
The phone uses artificial intelligence to detect whether users are taking nude photographs, and will direct users to an error screen when the nudity detector is triggered (with false positives bound to be rife):
In addition to preventing nude selfies, phones equipped with certain parental oversight features will also alert users’ parents if they should attempt to take such a photograph.
Whether or not ravenous adult buyers can disable this function for themselves was not mentioned.
The e20 runs on Android 9.0 and is equipped with a 6.26-inch display, 4GB of memory, 64GB of storage and a wide-angle triple camera.
Oh no are they gonna post see pee?

No, they can't do that. Proprietary software took away their freedom to post OC see pee.

nudes != sex. My current gf isn't into nudes, she doesn't see the point when you can just have sex instead.
> sometimes it's fun to get drunk or whatever and break out a camera.
My current gf isn't into nudes
Your gf isn't young enough. Sending nudes is a teenager's thing.

Why not just have a phone which can't send pictures, or no phone at all.
