Im thinking to whether delete all my social media accounts or keep them so that I can retain my friends. Im not a very social person so I don't know if having social media would help me in any way.

I'm a different guy but also qualified to be in the control group (can't have a group with only one subject, after all) so I'll answer. I manage by not having friends and getting any family news 2nd or 3rd hand and usually late. It really simplifies things, overall.
