I just want to take a moment to appreciate the humble can of SPAM. Unlike many other processed foods, SPAM continues to be exactly what it is: cured minced pork shoulder. I was able to procure Danish SPAM once. They call it Jamonilla. I bet if I served people Jamonilla rather than SPAM, they'd be more amenable to it.
I like to use an osthyvel to cut thin pieces of SPAM to eat on open-face sandwiches. Buttered whole wheat toast, cheddar, caraway, SPAM. Add a few pickles on the side, and that's a meal I could eat for every meal.
I'm glad that I have access to high quality food, clean water, a temperate climate, and low crime. And you folks. Thanks for reading my blogpost.
