Once upon a time
In a land very far away
There lived a boy and a girl
The girl liked sports, the boy liked learning
Also imagine they lived in a setting similar to israel
Bazaars, middle-eastern
Lots of sand, hot weather, people wearing cloth on their head to protect from sand etc.
Very sunny overall
no winter really
Coming back to the story
The boy had a dog
The girl had a cat
They lived on the (almost) opposite ends of the city
Mind you, the setting of this story is ~1500
They met each other sometimes on Grand Baazars
They were childhood friends
And then the girl turned 13
After the birthday celebration she was to told that her family had offered her hand in marriage to the village mayors's son. The second to last time we spoke, she was telling me that she was planning on making a run for it.
However, she was very worried how her cat would survive if she ran.
So she took the cat in her purse and ran away.
She didn't say goodbye to her friend.
And her friend didn't know she ran away.

it's the year 2XXX, hundreds of years after the zombie apocolypes and it is an urban jungle lord of the flies battle between warring tribes while having the typical zombie problems on top. the lead character has a cut on her foot that turns into gangrene due to lack of antibiotics, resulting in her heroic death. She bites her beloved mate, and he, rather than live without her, destroys an ancient nearby dam, flooding the valley where both tribes lived before.
fantasy cop: john goodman stars as fantasy cop, a world where he is a sheriff in a small city framed against a world overrun by fantastic monsters. he battles them with badass armor and science fiction blasters, kicking tail. although the series has a loose plot barely strung together with pearls of gore filled dragons and mutants violence- in the end the real focus of the series is his decaying marriage due to his chronic alcoholism. He can kill 20 orcs with a single plasma blaster, but can find a way to stay away from the sauce long enough to save his failing marriage? Fantasy Cop.
