The chasm between what one experiences and what one can communicate will always be unsurmountable as facts in and of themselves. The problem of knowledge as consensus reality emerges when one conflates perspective with language.
At one point, language was consciously performed merely as a tool against a background of purely integrative experience, sans language, as individuals. To be an individual is to have a silent dialect of one.
Civilization as a process is the disintegration of individuals into that of dividuals ("social beings") living within a collective; to exist then is to be seen existing by others.
To step back and to reassert the primacy of the individual spirit against the divided tongue is the root of mysticism and metanoia.
