I can pick out musical notes if i try them one by one, and with voicing i can tell if a chord is open or close... but i still cant play things as precisely: so how do i actually able to recognize notes by ear as exact as possible?
other than dissonant or consonant, higher or lower or same, what else do i need to know to be able to exact the sound i need to play?
practice, practice, practice? what do you play?
