What are your plans for the coming civil war?

1 2021-09-10 12:31

I have a small solar power system, a tent, an activated charcoal filter, and an axe. I'm also building a small wooden boat. I've never liked owning a gun though.

Civil war? In which country?

3 2021-09-10 12:55

In the US

How do these items help during a civil war?

There's going to be a civil war? Amongst these pussies? I doubt it.

6 2021-09-10 14:09

What are your plans for the coming civil war?

Emigrate to Mexico.

Wars are about logistics. This means infrastructure will be under constant attack and you'll be on you're own a lot of the time.

8 2021-09-10 15:37

>>7

But what about food and medical supplies?

9 2021-09-10 15:42

>>8
Fishing, most people around me have chickens.
As for medicine almost everyone is stockpiling stuff from the vet.

10 2021-09-10 16:01

There's not going to be a civil war in the US

11 2021-09-10 16:13

Enjoy a better world without the AmeriKKKan Empire.

12 2021-09-10 16:50

>>9
What if the civil war devolves into environmental warfare? The fish and chickens would fall sick and die.

13 2021-09-10 16:53

Build a border wall to stop American refugees from invading Mexico.

14 2021-09-10 17:52

>>12
I don't have a solution to that but I'm all ears. I'm a man not a god, I can't prepare for everything.

15 2021-09-10 18:12

Why do you think there will be a civil war?

16 2021-09-10 18:20

>>15
Peaceful federal governments form by consensus, and our consensus is wearing thin.

17 2021-09-11 02:47

>>16 The civil rights in the US seem quite consentable to me. If only they were fully respected again...

18 2021-09-11 02:51

If the constitution doesn't contain an explicit right to privacy, yet, adding such an amendment might be a good idea in the age of global computer networks...

>>16 government consensus is wearing thin while companies rule by means of constructed and forced "consensus"

The priority is air, water, shelter and food in that order. Electric power is low on the list of necessit.

21 2021-09-13 00:20

>>20
Why is shelter more important than food?

22 2021-09-13 00:48

>>21 maybe >>20 says this because with shelter, you can go find more food, but with food and no shelter you may very well die from exposure to the elements.

23 2021-09-15 00:25

Who are the participants in this civil war? What will they be fighting for?

24 2022-05-01 15:40

I met a seer,
Passing the hues and objects of the world,
The fields of art and learning, pleasure, sense,
To glean eidolons.
Put in thy chants said he,
No more the puzzling hour nor day, nor segments, parts, put in,
Put first before the rest as light for all and entrance-song of all,
That of eidolons.
Ever the dim beginning,
Ever the growth, the rounding of the circle,
Ever the summit and the merge at last, (to surely start again,)
Eidolons! eidolons!

civil war doesn't necessarily mean everything will fall to anarchy. even during WW2 food, shelter, electricity and hospitals remained available
