i'm glad that it exists and isn't just simply neurofunk influenced halftime, which would be ok, but still it keeps me up at night that the name of the sub-subgenre is so completely unpalatable and bitter tasting.
I think there is so much room for growth in the genre, but I think it will mostly never come to light, overshadowed by other thuggish, glurgling sci-fi genres such as bro.
I can only imagine that it won't spread out of the netherlands to seattle anytime soon. We will wait, and listen, and see.
Music "spreading out of the netherlands to seattle" is dictated by a small group of social connected people. Don't confuse that with people in Seattle listening to music from the Netherlands which happens much faster.
