That may be caused by the reverse proxies the server connection goes through: bitmitigate and a VPN. Also, the server is a pentium IV.

Do you have some ideas? The back-end is written in Common Lisp but it acts as a REST server - for now at least - the front-end is just a shitty javascript framework, Svelte.
