Just surfing the interweebs today and for whatever reason, decided to try out binaural beats today.
Here's a sample command for you linux users to generate your own binaural beats:
mpv --lavfi-complex="aevalsrc=0.1*sin(2*PI*(200)*t) | 0.1*sin(2*PI*(240)*t) [ao]" null://
Here are some frequency differences scoured from the interweebs:
40hz - Gamma waves, good for focus and concentration (e.g. 100 hz and 140 hz)
20hz - Beta waves, most activities while awake (e.g. 100 hz and 120 hz)
10hz - Alpha waves, relaxed and sleepy (e.g. 100 hz and 110 hz)
5hz - Theta waves, sleep stages 1 and 2 (e.g. 100 hz and 105 hz)
2hz - Delta waves, deep sleep (e.g. 100hz and 102 hz)
The idea is to create two frequencies with the differences above and you get yourself an infinite binaural beat in the background.
I cannot attest to whether the often-mentioned benefits are real but they seem useful as background noise.
total bs. wanna discover higher reality, stick with lsd and mj
