Marvin Minsky - The Beauty of the Lisp Language

>>198
Heroic attempts by LITHPers to find some magical lisp code that can't be replicated by C, whereas their LISP compiler/interpreter is written in C and they're using libc running on C-based operating system. They don't see how their "magical LISP" is actually C at its based. They don't see C. They see their parens soup and proclaim it the basis of computing.
Even LISP machines had underlying assembler that is imperative and serial process that was basis for "functional" LISP.

There is of course another layer of irony in fanatic LISP users being disconnected from
the software development process of their compilers/interpreters, so that their eyes wouldn't touch dirty, imperative Cee and ASSembly, as the projects stagnate and fade to obscurity due lack of participation.
