Perhaps autism rising to such numbers underlies some evolutionary process
where humans with autism gaining some genetic advantage that allows
their genes to propagate further, creating more autistic world.
Autists are incredibly persistent and stubborn, those could be
explaining why evolution allowed autism to survive:
some autistic toolmakers in the deep past would have provided their
tribe with more precise and useful tools/weapons, giving them an evolutionary
edge over competing tribes.
